What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Sales Specialist position at Empire Field Team?

Our company seeks an Independent Contractor to collaborate with our dynamic team as an Insurance Field Specialist and be part of a fast-paced and exciting industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about sales and customer service. As an Insurance Field Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to follow up on canceled policies, verify personal health information, and develop community partnerships with local businesses to generate leads. You will also be fully trained in insurance compliance and be able to service existing clients to ensure that policies are being assigned successfully, as well as have the opportunitty to become a licensed agent. You can make on average $1,000 per week (comission based).

Duties:

  • Follow up on policies that have been canceled due to non-payment of premiums and/or pending information.
  • Meeting established sales goals.
  • Verify personal health information like address/contact info/incarceration status etc.
  • Develop community partnerships with local businesses to generate leads.
  • Be fully trained in insurance compliance and be able to service existing clients to ensure that policies are being assigned successfully.
  • Work off a supplied list of leads in an efficient manner.
  • Successfully enroll 60-80 apps per week with a 90% validity rate.

We Offer:

  • Average of $1,000 (comission based) per week.
  • 1099 Contractor Position

Skills Needed:

  • An established background in Sales and reaching or exceeding goals.
  • Great with data tracking and data management. We use Google Sheets, Airtable, and IMS.
  • On-the-fly problem-solving abilities.
  • A thorough understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and potential partners.
  • Valid Driver’s License and an operational vehicle
  • Able to retain information regarding compliance/legal limitations and apply them.
  • Able to be flexible in your workflow and schedule.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Open to work some weekends.
  • Able to work on more than one project at a time.
  • Pass the state test for health insurance (we will pay for it) and pass the required background checks for getting licensed and appointed.
