Role:
Our Company is in search of an HR Ambassador. In this role you will be held to a higher expectation you will be expected to be a mentor to all new hires and help them to move toward success with Empire Packing. As an Empire Ambassador, you are expected to be here every day with a positive attitude while determined to help retain our New Hires.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and Greet New Hires at the entrance of the department at operational start up
- Ensure proper ID clocking/punching
- Ensure New Hires can open their lockers with combination
- Walk the department/floor to restrooms, department/floor to locker room, and department/floor to cafeteria a minimum of three (3) times to ensure knowledge and familiarity with the layout

Demonstrate/Lead the New Hires on how to properly Don/Doff their PPE
- Practice a minimum of five (5) times the first day on the production floor
- You will conduct PPE verifications with each New Hire after each scheduled break to ensure proper usage and compliance
- You will be asked to help ensure New Hires are progressing along with their qualification and job responsibilities, including:
- Check and Verify Knife and Steel usage, when applicable
- Ask questions regularly of the new hires to make sure they are adjusting
- Help New Hires to understand the industry, process, and environment
- Follow Up with Human Resources with daily interactions logs
- Follow Up with Human Resources of any possible resignations or terminations
- Have good communication skills
- Have good attendance
- Understand and Live the company Values
- Other duties to be assigned as necessary
