What you will do
As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of our vehicles. Our fleet consists of company owned, leased, and rental cargo vans, box trucks, utility trucks, and others.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Purchasing and maintaining vehicles for field operations
- Deciding where to buy, lease, or rent vehicles in order to minimize cost
- Registering and licensing all company vehicles
- Coordinating vehicle maintenance
- Maintaining detailed records for vehicle service and inspections
- Provide driver training to ensure safe use of company assets by remote employees
- Within 3 months, develop a method of GPS tracking for each vehicle
- Discover and utilize the best possible fleet management software to track our assets
A little bit about you
You are looking for a role where you can make an impact and put your ideas into motion. You’re detail-oriented and take pride in your work. You’re comfortable taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
You also:
- Degree in Logistics, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar major
- 2+ years experience in fleet management
- 2+ years in a logistics role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to root-cause problem solve
