Our Client in Medina is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join their team!
Shift
1st Shift with Hybrid Options (2 days remote).
Pay
$20.00-$28.00/hr based on experience.
Responsibilities
Guiding new hires through the onboarding process to ensure a successful start, moving us towards a more electronic process.
Assist with remote associate onboarding content and coordination.
Enter associate transactions into our (ADP) HRIS such as new hires, terminations and change of status data Audit existing systems and processes for additional needs and efficiencies.
Support hourly time and attendance processes and associate incentive tracking.
Assist with applicant tracking system support.
Contribute to HR compliance, including handbook updates and auditing personnel files and coordinating a paperless file conversion project.
Coordinate benefits administration and compliance and assist with moving to an electronic benefit open enrollment process.
Administer HR reporting as needed.
May assist with training and development coordination, such as enrollments, tracking and creating training records within our HRIS.
Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement and efficiencies of HR efforts.
May assist with HR Business Partner back-up functions.
Perform other duties and projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
Organizational Development, Business, or related field is preferred.
Experience with an HRIS system, must have a strong knowledge and practitioner experience with ADP Workforce.
Now Data entry skills with possess an excellent attention to detail Human resources support and coordination experience.
Benefits administration experience is helpful Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Understanding of HR laws, practices and procedures.
Self-motivated and action-oriented.
Proficiency to communicate well with all different levels, internally and externally, including verbal, electronic, written.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite with a strong proficiency with Excel Efficient with prioritizing and multi-tasking, including being productive while handling re-directions and interruptions based upon business needs.
Must be flexible and accommodating to handle a variety of expectations.
Ability to work in teams as well as possess self-accountability.
Possess a strong sense of urgency, follow-through, and diligence, including meeting deadlines and have the ability to remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources of information and data.
Possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
