Job Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will have a deep understanding of Salesforce functionalities, best practices, and a proven track record of implementing and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions. The role will play a pivotal role in shaping our CRM strategy, driving user adoption, and ensuring the platform's alignment with business goals.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, configuration, and customization of the Salesforce platform to meet evolving business needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather, analyze, and document business processes and requirements.
- Design and implement solutions that leverage Salesforce capabilities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience.
- Oversee data management and governance practices, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, process builder flows, and other Salesforce functionalities.
- Manage user profiles, permissions, and access controls to enforce data security and compliance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system architecture, configuration changes, and user guides.
- Lead user training sessions and provide ongoing support to drive adoption and proficiency among Salesforce users.
- Collaborate with developers and integration teams to design and implement seamless integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Act as a mentor and subject matter expert for junior administrators, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Participate in project planning and execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
Competencies (Skills & Knowledge You'll Bring)
- 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, including hands-on experience with complex implementations and customizations.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator credential is required; additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder are a plus.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning Experience and related technologies.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into effective solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring junior administrators.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for staying current with technology trends and applying innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Experience using various technology platforms to drive effective decisions.
The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $90,000 to $115,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
