Web Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking an individual who desires to grow their skills and contribute to a dynamic team. Strong communication skills are a must, as is a desire to work both indivually, and/or, as part of team. Ability to code CSS, JS and HTML “from scratch” (in addition to implementing frameworks) is absolutely required. Solid path to advancement exists for the right applicant. You will gain a wide variety of experience in the web design field working on web applications, API development, website design, online marketing and much, much more.

Responsibilities

• Participate with our team to build out current software, as well as for new client projects.
• Receive and complete individual mini-projects to be delivered back to the team.
• Utilize Git for version control and code management.
• Gain familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS for deployment and scalability.
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly -
• Troubleshoot and debug website issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate back-end systems and databases
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in web development

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:

• Strong understanding of web design, programming, and business logic.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both one-on-one and in a team environment.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and attentive to details.

Bonus points

• Prior experience with PHP, Lucee, ColdFusion, or similar languages/frameworks.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
