Position: Dietary Aide

Location: Kahului, HI

Pay: $19/hr

Experience: Previous experience in commercial food service (preferred)

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Day Shift, 6:30am to 3pm and 11:30am to 8pm (With the ability to rotate shifts)

Employers Options is seeking a Dietary Aide to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Prepare meals, nourishments, and beverages per sanitary regulations and established policies
• Ensure the quality of food prepared is following production sheets, recipes, and menus
• Serve residents meal trays in the dining area of their choice
• Check diet trays before distribution to ensure accuracy
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and store equipment used in food preparation
• Assist with keeping the work area clean and orderly
• Bus tables after mealtime and dispose of food and waste
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Possess or obtain a formal food handler certificate from the State of Hawaii Department of Health or from an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited course
• Current medical/health screening including 2-step TB clearance
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
