Production technician

Job Title : Production Worker Medical Waste Treatment Facility

Hours : Monday Friday, 11 : 00 AM 7 : 30 PM

Pay : $23 / hour

Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team at a medical waste treatment facility.

This role is essential to the safe and efficient handling, processing, and decontamination of medical waste. As a Production Worker, you will play a critical part in the safe unloading, transport, and treatment of medical waste materials.

This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards while working in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Unloading & Transport : Safely unload containers of waste from incoming trucks and transport them onto a conveyor belt for further processing.
• Handling Waste : Assist in moving containers and bins of bagged medical waste to the appropriate areas within the facility.
• Decontamination : Help dump waste bins into hoppers for treatment and assist in offloading and cleaning hoppers after the decontamination process.
• Container & Vehicle Cleaning : Assist in the decontamination of containers and vehicles used for transporting medical waste.
• Facility Cleanliness : Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all areas are sanitized and free from hazards.
• Safety Compliance : Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent exposure to hazardous materials and ensure the safety of yourself and your team.

Requirements :

• Must pass a UA drug test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar environment (medical waste handling, hazardous materials, or industrial work preferred).
• Comfort and willingness to work around medical waste and potentially unsavory conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow strict safety protocols.
