Employnet is looking for a Production Technician II with the following experience
SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of manufacturing and warehouse duties. Manufactures assigned parts by following provided directions. Directions are provided via several methods. These methods include but are not limited to work instructions; production orders; verbal or written directions. Inspect parts before, during, and after manufacturing steps. Moves inventory using manual, electric, or propane powered material handling equipment. This may include putting items on racks using a forklift or unloading trucks. Personnel training. Performs additional miscellaneous tasks and duties as determined by department supervisor/manager or other members of the management team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Operate assigned equipment
· Perform equipment changeovers
· Deburr parts using window deburr equipment and belt sander
· Train temporary employees and new employees
· Document all work performed on appropriate logs, forms, work instructions, and electronic forms
· Shrink-wrap pallets
· Responsible for equipment maintenance as assigned
· Responsible for keeping work station clean and organized
· Notifies department supervisor/manager of supplies or parts that are needed
· Communicates with production supervisor/manager as to status of production orders being worked on
· Label containers with contents
· Notifies department supervisor/manager of any inventory discrepancies
· Keep truck well clean and organized
· Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading racks or moving product throughout the warehouse
· Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, safety requirements, and resolves any issues or delays in all areas of responsibility.
· Keeps workspace clean, organized, and follows COVID-19 Guidelines.
· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:
· High school diploma or GED; at least 3-5 years of relatable experience
· Record maintenance skills
· Organized, able to multi-task and forward plan
· Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English
· Ability to understand and maintain quality and safety procedures
· Ability to perform simple arithmetic
· Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
· ISO experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to lift, carry and manipulate objects up to 50 lbs. throughout the day
· Ability to push, pull, bend, and reach above shoulder level when needed
· Ability to sit, stand, lift, push, pull, and walk for extended periods of time without limitations
· Ability to load and unload material from trucks
· Indoor/Outdoor warehouse environment
· Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard
SPECIAL REQUIRMENTS:
· Forklift Certified
COMPUTER SKILLS:
· Basic computer knowledge (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
