Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one, or group therapy sessions in a variety of environments, including homes, schools, and community settings
- Support families through built-in consultative calls to improve carryover of goal areas, and provide updates as needed
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child
- Use evidence-based interventions and techniques to help children develop skills in areas such as fine motor coordination, sensory integration, self-care, social and play skills
- Document and track progress toward goals using electronic medical records, collaborate with parents through Google Classroom
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy
- Feeding experience preferred
- Passion for working with children and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
