Position Summary

Embark on a dynamic journey with Empower as an Account Intake Specialist, where you become the cornerstone of our customer engagement and growth strategy. This exhilarating role places you at the epicenter of our operations, managing the intricate dance of onboarding new provider accounts. You'll navigate through the creation of detailed provider profiles, ensuring their seamless integration into our pharmacy management systems. The verification of credentials, granting of provider portal access, and meticulous facilitation of account approvals are all in a day's work, adhering to our rigorous standard operating procedures and compliance frameworks.

 

As the vanguard of our customer acquisition efforts, your role is multifaceted; you'll adeptly handle incoming cases from a plethora of channels, ensuring each provider's journey is smooth and streamlined. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishes and qualifies new accounts from internal and external sources. 
  • Facilitates and manages the onboarding of new provider accounts, including the creation of provider portals and access to pharmacy systems.
  • Responsible for researching licensing and medical practice verifications.  
  • Collaborates and communicates with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new provider accounts.
  • Maintain clear and open lines of communication with the Sales-Operations, Customer Service and Compliance teams, providing updates on account status and any issues or concerns.
  • Maintains prospective client information within CRM and pharmacy platforms. 
  • Stays up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to account onboarding and customer acquisition.
  • Effectively communicates internally and externally including written, verbal and by phone regarding provider accounts.
  • Tracks and monitors all assigned Intake cases and maintains professional communications.
  • Meet quantitative performance metrics as outlined.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry: pharmaceutical products, compounding, and specific clinical treatments.

Experience and Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in science in a related field, the equivalent experience or healthcare related certification or license preferred.
  • Previous experience in outbound call center or related administration experience preferred.
