Responsible for overseeing and maintaining Partner relationships ensuring the client's overall service needs are satisfied by establishing, developing and maintaining strong relationships with Partner home-office personnel. Primary servicing will include Partners offering Multiple Employer Plans (MEPs), Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs) and other single plan retirement product offerings (e.g. 401k) that Partner offers. Subject matter expert with knowledge related to partner product, recordkeeping, administration, technical, and legal issues.

Essential Functions

  • Acts as the primary contact for Partner home-office personnel supporting the relationship with regards to product, administration, operations, policies, procedures, and on-going servicing.
  • Coordinate with Partner and internal teams to ensure an annual Strategic Partnership Plan is developed and maintained.
  • Support the Partner by facilitating periodic partnership reviews (in-person and remotely as needed).
  • Work with the Partner and internal Product team to maintain an overall product definition for the offering and coordinate product level changes as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies with a focus on cost savings/revenue generation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of company’s products and services.
  • Respond accurately and timely to sensitive/escalated and complex situations from Partner, account manager, other internal departments and management.
  • Provide education and training for internal and external stakeholders for new and existing operational processes, products and system functionality.
  • Ensure all required reporting is accurate and delivered within agreed upon timeframes.
  • Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to ensure they are in alignment with our contractual obligations.
  • Ensure accurate assessment of fees to Partners and Plans (as outlined in Partner agreement).
  • Negotiate all fee schedule and contract updates/renewals.
  • Ensure all current contracts/fee schedules/amendments are maintained in a designated location.
  • Seeks additional opportunities to lead global initiatives and is responsible for rollout and communication strategies.
  • Train and mentor less experienced staff.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of industry and RM role experience
  • Series 6 and Series 63
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Explains information and persuades others in complex situations.
  • In depth knowledge of retirement plan markets, investment products, capital markets and portfolio theory.
  • Has wide ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative ways.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may teach/mentor others with less expertise.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Solid understanding of client relationships and ability to view work in a strategic manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines and lead projects simultaneously; works independently with solid problem solving, negotiation and critical thinking skills.
  • Takes a broader perspective to identify innovative solutions, techniques evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Enforce defined procedures to mitigate gain/loss exposure, measured by gain/loss exposure as a result of circumventing procedures.
  • Effectively manages projects.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Interacts with key contacts outside of own area of expertise, involving coordination among groups.
  • Explains information and persuades others in complex situations.
  • Willing to travel, including overnight stays, via air travel, train and/or automobile to attend meetings with key parties.

Base Salary Range

$97,000.00 - $136,975.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
