What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineering Intern position at Emsi Burning Glass?
Only local (Moscow, ID/Pullman, WA region) candidates will be considered at this time.
Emsi is a trusted advisor on labor market information for customers across a wide array of markets. Our job postings and employee profiles data, enriched by our taxonomies and classification algorithms, turn raw data into usable information and add significant value for our customers.
We are looking for a motivated developer to join us in developing and improving the classification and extraction algorithms that enrich our data. If you are interested in joining a highly productive team of developers (working closely with data engineers, taxonomists, and API developers) to produce high quality machine learning algorithms and data enrichers, we would love to hear from you. You will be part of an actual team of developers, doing actual work. Constructive code reviews from seasoned developers, and the chance to pair with developers at all levels of experience, will help you develop your skills while working productively. If this kind of challenge excites you, you just might be the person we're looking for.
In the descriptions below, when we say “experience,” we mean it very broadly — if you’ve turned in a few homework assignments relating to the item in question, that counts.
Emsi Burning Glass is an equal opportunity employer.
