EMSL Analytical Inc., the fastest growing provider of environmental laboratory services, is currently seeking a Full Time Help Desk Support Engineer at our corporate office located in Cinnaminson, NJ to work within its growing organization and IT department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing Technology Help Desk support services to all employees for all hardware, software, network infrastructure, phone/VOIP systems, internet connectivity, email, etc. Support services will be provided both in person and by phone.
Troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions on an individual basis and as part of a team.
Purchasing, set up, deployment, and maintenance of all hardware and software.
Participating in rotating On-call schedule, including regular shifts providing 24-hour support services.
Occasional travel required.
Requirements:
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must have the ability to solve problems effectively come up with solutions
Must have a positive attitude
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments; demonstrate flexibility with daily work load
Qualifications and Experience:
Computer certificate from training institute or Associates degree (A.A. or A.S.) in Technology related field, or equivalent combination work experience.
Experience with the Microsoft suite of products including but not limited to Office 365, Office 2016, Windows 7and 10, Windows Server 2008, 2012R2, 2016, Exchange 2013, and Active Directory. Experience with custom corporate applications such as Desktop Authority, Fortigate Networking Infrastructure, Web Filter Solutions, Help Star, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Macola Accounting, Mitel & Momentum VoIP systems, VMware and Maximizer CRM is a plus.
Previous Help Desk experience is required.
Available Shift:
Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., flexible mornings or later shifts
Schedule is subject to change based on business needs and the shift could vary between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
