We have a current need for a Substation Inspector based in the Cheyenne, WY area.
Responsibilities:
- Track the contractor's mark-ups and collect all hard copy IFC drawings containing red marks
- Collect all project permits requirements ensuring compliance.
- Perform, document, and record weekly audits and inspections of documentation and work site
- Conduct pre and post energization inspections and ensure documentation is completed and submitted
Please note: This position will involve fieldwork based in Cheyenne, WY.
Requirements:
- 5 years' experience with substation facilities
- General knowledge of electric line work and/or substation construction
- General knowledge of applicable environmental regulations governing construction
- Basic knowledge of industry codes governing the electric industry including NEC, NESC, and OSHA
