The Role at a glance:
The Change Management Specialist is a passionate and driven individual who under the direction of the Sr. Director of Learning and Development & Change Management designs and delivers fit for purpose change management plans. The body of work includes identifying impacted stakeholders, assessing levels of impact, understanding how impact is felt across the organization, planning for training and education as a means to enable change agility and organizational resiliency, and designing and delivering communication, stakeholder engagement, and other assets and collateral to enable change. This person will help to establish Change Management as a tangible organizational competency that can be felt, measured, and seen across the organization, ultimately impacting how the organization leads, pivots, and responds in an ever-changing environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to partner with all levels across the organization, adopt an internal consultant mindset, create trusting relationships, and serve as a Change advisor on key projects and initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
- Apply a structured methodology and lead change management strategy & activities under the direction of the Sr. Director of L&D and Change Management
- Assess the people, process and organization change impacts across multiple programs and projects
- Collaborate and cross functional work with leadership and SME’s to include: Project Management, Training & Development, Communication, Human Resources, Segment Leadership, etc.
- Complete change management assessments
- Develop and implement CM interventions including but not limited to change readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, learning and communication plans
- Partner with Project Management to implement CM project tollgate methodology, change readiness validation and participate in tollgate reviews
- Monitor and assesses change readiness, risk and acceptance, escalating and determining steps and mitigating actions with governance teams
- Facilitate CM program meetings including organization changes with HR, change planning and tracking with business teams and project resources
- Provide information and advice to senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor
- Assess, coordinate, and manage stakeholders while directly supporting and coaching operations management as they help their organization through transitions
- Manage process, organization and people change components of rollout planning, deployment, and coordination
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- Minimum 3 years’ Organizational Development/ Change Management experience leading projects
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Working experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience conducting change impact analysis, assess change readiness, crafting audience specific communications and identify key stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Prosci ADKAR model and familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors project implementations preferred
- Experience introducing change management (i.e. concepts, process, etc.) to an organization
- Change management certification or designation desired; Prosci Certification a plus
