Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing dental care to patients in a public health setting. This position works under the supervision of a dentist and is responsible for a variety of tasks, including :
- Preparing patients for dental procedures
- Taking and developing dental X-rays
- Cleaning and polishing teeth
- Applying fluoride treatments
- Instructing patients on oral hygiene
- Maintaining dental records
- Driving the company vehicle from our main office to the scheduled location
Dental Assistant Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- DANB National Radiation Health and Safety Exam passed (or) be a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), Formally Trained Dental Assistant (FTDA), or Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA)
- Full COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses) or Valid Medical or Religious exemption
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- State Driver's License and clean driving record
Dental Assistant Job Summary :
- Rate : $25.00-$35.00 / hr (Negotiable)
