Responsibilities
The Dental Assistant / DA is responsible for providing dental care to patients in a public health setting. This position will work 3 12-hours shifts 1 4-hour shift per week and will work under the supervision of a dentist and be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

Dental Assistant (DA)
Responsibilities
The Dental Assistant / DA is responsible for providing dental care to patients in a public health setting. This position will work 3 12-hours shifts 1 4-hour shift per week and will work under the supervision of a dentist and be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Preparing patients for dental procedures
- Taking and developing dental X-rays
- Cleaning and polishing teeth
- Applying fluoride treatments
- Instructing patients on oral hygiene
- Maintaining dental records
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active California RDA License (or) X-ray Certification
- At least two years of dental assistant / DA experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid State Driver's License and clean driving record
- COVID-19 vaccinations
- Rate: $20.00-$30.00 /hr (Negotiable)
