Fleet Manager

Description

• Complete and maintain certifications on proper operation of all job site machinery
• Order fuel cards for each tracked vehicles, request driver fuel PINs
• Manage and maintain accounts with all fuel services vendors
• Audit fuel transactions for company vehicles/fuel purchases on a monthly basis
• Work with Safety to ensure approved drivers are properly trained on processes and expectations
• Work with Safety on remediation and storage of oils, chemicals and other Hazardous waste.
• Work with Mechanic on repair and maintenance schedules as well as obtaining equipment parts
• Work with Crews to implement greasing of equipment and routine maintenance while in use.
• Work with HR to maintain approved drivers list or request driver adds
• Keep detailed and organized notes of findings while on sites
• Schedule and monitor maintenance events as needed based on contract and incidents
• Utilize and maintain our tracking services and softwares provided to fleet team by the company.
• Fill out Service Reports, track travel and labor time as well as used materials for billing
• Emphasize the highest level of quality assurance and adherence to safety standards and regulations
• Complete all reports and other documentation timely and accurately
• Drive and maintain all company vehicles, owned, or rented, in accordance with Company policy and local laws
• Communicate effectively, politely, and professionally with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the general public when representing Company. Communicate all matters with Operations Director in a timely manner
• Maintain safety training related to mechanical and electrical systems and basic CPR and First Aid
• Provide other general support as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

• 4 years of fleet management experience
• Maintain a valid Drivers License and a good driving record.
• Certified in OSHA 10, preferred
• Willing to travel 75% of the time
• Ability to determine work priorities and review work for quality and production standards.
• Must be highly motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work both with a team and independently.
• Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Must excel with multi-tasking, problem-solving, written, and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
