Position Overview:
You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and smooth business operation while providing support to other initiatives within the organization.
This position will independently take care of inventory management and all inventory-related responsibilities, as well as cost analysis and other accounting functions. Additionally, this position will be flexible to assist with other projects when required and it reports to the Regional Controller of Fremont.
Responsibilities:
· Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including implementing purchasing policy with proper LoA, placing PO, processing incoming invoices, and maintaining prompt communication with vendors.
· Conduct weekly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments.
· Verify financial documentation (e.g., PO, BC) to maintain accurate records.
· Record all cash outflow transactions and reconcile credit card transactions.
· Support quarterly reviews and annual audits, collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
· Identify and lead process improvements within the accounts payable function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
· Assist with various accounting tasks, including month-end close activities, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree of Accounting, Financial Management, Economics or other Finance-related majors. Master's degree is a plus.
· 1- or 2-years firm or company experience.
· Proficient in Microsoft office. Experience with BC preferred.
· Strong problem solving, teamwork and communication skills.
· Able to work a flexible schedule when having Quarter end closing or during auditing.
