Here’s what you will do: Develop and coordinate Asset Integrity (Al) driven non-routine projects through the project life cycle: from the initial project identification through in-service and project close out. Non-routine projects may include: pipeline replacement, large pipeline recoating projects, hydrotests, remediation of geological and hydrological hazards, pipeline modifications such as send/receive trap installations, and remediating cased crossings and cathodic protection issues. Liaison is required between Asset Integrity (Al), Project Development/Execution, Gas Control and Operations, Asset Management and Finance, as well as Commercial and Marketing groups in the identification, justification, and active sponsorship of Al-driven projects. Perform complication and analyses of project documentation, complete related Engineering Assessments, and participate in gating review process, commissioning, acceptance and long-term operation review activities. Prepare "Requests for Proposals" from project teams. Perform preliminary risk evaluation; secure funding; coordinate sponsorship approval of scope/cost/schedule; manage communication, impact assessment, and approvals of scope/ cost/ schedule changes; shepherd approval and acquisition of incremental funds and schedule extensions for projects if required. Ensure that Asset Integrity is appropriately addressed in due diligence process, for internal developments and acquisitions. Provide technical support to business development initiatives involving pipeline and related terminal development, infrastructure for new pipeline business opportunities. Develop, execute, and manage documented procedures for all facets of the due diligence process. Lead the development and future enhancement of Systems Integrity regarding specific P&O group process and procedural documents, such as preliminary project scope definition, business case, workflows, and presentation templates, employing streamlined Decision Effectiveness (RAPID) models where practicable Who you are: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other closely related field and Nine (9) years of experience as a Project Engineer, Engineer, Enterprise Risk Officer, or related role. The nine (9) years of experience must have included the following: project management, which includes developing schedules, tracking actions, and driving projects to completion, financial management of projects, due diligence, and implementation of risk management programs. Of the required experience, four (4) years must have included experience with pipeline integrity projects. Travel up to 10% (US and Canada) required. Diversity and inclusion are important to us.
