What you will do:

• Facilitate and implement forecasting and reporting processes for the Area.

• Provide variance analysis and review budget forecast and variances with area management and provide recommendations

• Implement annual budget preparation and input, including comparative reporting and analysis versus prior period budget and forecast versions.

• As required, assist in the development of cases for proposed projects.

• Perform in-system project administration activities including project initiation, managing approval workflows, updating pertinent dates / team members / narrative information, and project close-out.

• Act as Subject Matter Expert in areas related to budgeting, forecasting, account coding to provide support and training to Area personnel as needed.

• Perform invoice and purchase order administration as needed.

• Prepare letters, PowerPoint presentations, minute/action item recording for departmental meetings, photocopying, courier packages, off-site filing and tracking, catering, ordering office and kitchen supplies; and other requests from staff/contractors and visitors to the department.

• Manage records across Area as outlined in the records management policy

• Provide support with expenses, travel booking and management, and department calendars for the manager, vacation/out of office, as well as other staffing reports as required.

• Manage office equipment and materials orders and complete requests for access for new personnel; update accounts for existing personnel.

• Act as security administrator (create/maintain security/key logs), creation/maintenance of security access cards, to include retrieval of security camera data.

• Assist in emergency response situations.

Who You Are:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, invoicing, budgeting, or related discipline

• Intermediate knowledge in Excel, Oracle Cloud and related systems

• Preferred:

• Advanced skill in Excel, Oracle Cloud and related systems.

Preferred:

• Natural Gas Industry experience

Working Conditions:

• Office environment requiring extensive work on computer, networking with customers, research, analysis of data and development of plans and reports.

• Minimal travel.

• Extended work hours when vital to address emerging deadlines and schedule changes
