The Wardrobe Lead role is critical in ensuring the success of our events and is responsible for the management of issuing show costumes, preserving the quality and inventory of all pieces through efficient cleaning and maintenance, and maintaining the creative intent of the costume design.
The Wardrobe Lead will report to the Production Manager and work with our suppliers, and alongside fellow Team Leads to execute the most efficient operational plan and run-of-show. The Wardrobe Lead will also provide direction to the Wardrobe Assistants.
COMMITMENT: Dates may change based on location
- Venue Advance: Oct 01-Oct.31, 2022 (8hrs per day / mon-fri)
- Install: Nov 01-26, 2022 (10-12 hrs per days / 7am - 7pm / 6 days per week)
- Show: Nov 26-Jan 1, 2023, (8-10 hrs per days / 3pm - midnight / 5 days per week)
- Strike: Jan 02-15, 2023 (10-12 hr days / 7am - 7pm / 6 days per week)
May include some travel for training purposes
- Must commit to the entire production run from the pre-event to the load-out
- Must be prepared to work each day of the Load-in, Install, Run-of-Show, Strike and Load-out
- This includes the holiday season: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas day, New Years Eve and New Years Day
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

We are creators of a magical event called Enchant Christmas. We have hosted over three million guests over the past 5 years and have experienced significant growth. While Christmas is a big part of what we do, it is only the beginning of where we intend to go.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Review wardrobe designs and inventory.
- Organize inventory layout and storage plans.
- Coordinate and manage all wardrobe fittings with cast and team.
- Assign tasks to Wardrobe Assistants and ensure work is performed correctly.
- Provide direction and assistance to Wardrobe Assistants for daily operational tasks.
- Create and manage the overall wardrobe operational plan for maintenance, repair, and inventory.
- Administer small changes and corrections as per production requirement.
- Ensure all wardrobe assets are inventoried correctly throughout the event.
- Assist with onsite alterations and repairs as-needed.
- Ensure quality checks on all costumes prior to show and perform necessary alterations.
- Provide and manage laundry and dry-cleaning plans for the duration of the event.
- Clearly communicate best practices and provide guidance as required.
- Assist with the management of operational uniforms.
- Assist with textile décor repairs/ craft work as needed.
- Collaborate with the Operations team on the distribution and tracking of additional operational uniform textile pieces as needed.
- Ensure the team is practicing safe workplace procedures as outlined by the Enchant Safety & Health Guidelines.
- All Team Members will hold multifaceted roles where in conjunction with their main responsibilities they will assist the Site Production Manager and fellow team members with the following tasks as outlined but not limited to:
- Assisting other teams and disciplines as needed
- Unloading / loading shipments
- Receiving deliveries
- Prepping shipments for outbound transport
- Distributing assets within the exhibit grounds
- General setup and take down
- Exhibit builds and construction
- Stage/show equipment
- Exhibit maintenance and repairs
- General site tidiness

- Event & Entertainment industry
- Theatrical/stage shows
- Art and/or exhibit installations
- Tradeshow industry
- Site management
The Wardrobe Lead will exhibit the following skills/knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience working on industrial sewing machine, walking foot machines, sergers, and pressing equipment
- Highly organized
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Leadership
- Ability to coach and train teams
- Adaptability
