Field Technician Manager/Lead

About the Role
You will join a growing company looking to continue our growth through the addition of a highly motivated individual with experience as a Field Technician Manager/Lead. The Field Technician Manager/Lead will be a crucial leadership position responsible for overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and operational excellence of field services related to wireless and network communications systems. This role integrates hands -on technical expertise with strategic management to ensure project success and client satisfaction. The Manager will lead the Field Services team, providing guidance in technical matters, managing field operations, and supporting proposal development. Ideal candidates will be motivated, customer service focused, and looking to build a rewarding career within our company.
Responsibilities include:
Team Leadership and Development:
· Manage and mentor the Field Services team, focusing on skill development and professional growth.
· Evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
· Develop training programs to ensure staff are proficient in the latest technologies and safety protocols.
2. Proposal Development and Project Planning:
· Collaborate with Sales and Solutions teams to develop detailed proposals and accurate cost estimates.
· Provide technical expertise and strategic insights during the proposal stage, ensuring alignment with client needs and operational capabilities.
· Participate in RFI/RFP processes, creating responses that highlight our strengths and competitive advantages.
3. Project Execution:
· Support the planning, execution, and delivery of field operations projects, ensuring they meet agreed specifications, budgets, and timelines.
· Manage resource allocation and scheduling to optimize team deployment and project success.
· Conduct regular site visits and project reviews to monitor progress and enforce quality standards.
· Serve as a billable resource for field operations as required.
4. Technical Oversight and Compliance:
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and technological advancements.
· Ensure all field operations comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
· Lead quality control inspections, troubleshooting efforts, and technical problem resolution.
5. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
· Address and resolve complex issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and project continuity.
· Present project updates and strategic recommendations to senior management and clients.

This position requires living in the Midland/Odessa, TX area.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering , Computer Science, or related field preferred .
Minimum of six years of experience in field services management within wireless or network communications.
Proven experience in team supervision, leadership and project management.
Telecommunications knowledge preferred; not required.
Experience with large communications tower construction preferred; not required.
Basic understanding of ISO 9000 design requirements.
