Responsibilities
Endeavor is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The primary responsibilitiesof this role will be to prepare and analyze periodic financial statements, monthly forecasting, as well as adhoc analysis and general accounting. The role requires a candidate who can think strategically andanalytically and is able to discuss and present information and conclusions in a clear and concise mannerto all levels within the organization.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, i.e., performing journal entries,accruals, and other necessary closing activities
- Analyze, and investigate actual performance vs. budget, and explain variances when necessaryrack and record financial activity within the enterprise financial system, databases and preparereconciliations
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements,including footnotes to the financial statements and other disclosure
- Develop models, reports, and dashboards that elevate the level of reporting and analysis of keyfinancial data
- Proactively explore and implement ways to improve the accuracy and efficiency of existingprocesses
- Work with external auditors during year-end reviews and audits in preparing information requestsand addressing inquiri
- Support ad-hoc business analysis requests from leadership team and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, a focus in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3 years of professional experience in a finance or accounting role
- Microsoft Office Suite capabilities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
- Team oriented with ability to take directions and work independently
Additional Qualifications:
- Upstream oil and gas experience in an Accounting or Finance role is a plus
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with general ledger systems and data analytics software a plus
