CT Certified techs: $12,000 sign on
- Location: Highland Park Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full time: 40 hours
- Hours: Sun, Mon, Wed-Fri Days 7am-3:30
- Call: Yes, 1-3x/week
- License: IEMA license and ARRT Registered required
- Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required
- Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
- Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
- Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
- Review CT's to ensure optimum quality
