- Position: MRI Technologist II
- Location: Evanston Hospital
- Hours: Per diem/registry
- Shift: Saturday and Sunday 7am-5pm
- Required Travel: optional
- License: ARRT- MR
- Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
- Certification: CPR required
- Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience required
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
- Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
- Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality
- Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed
