CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Van NessPosition Overview:
Maintains scheduling for surgical and specialized procedures for all CPMC campuses operating room and assigned off unit department(s). Coordinates surgical services with physicians' offices, and other related departments and is required to verify operating room and equipment availability. Responsible for accurate documentation of surgical procedures, patient demographics, physician information and equipment requests. Must be able to multitask in call-center environment with high rate inbound fax reconciliation. Provides end of day anesthesia schedule to designated personnel. Performs additional associated duties as requested by manager, while simultaneously ensuring the accuracy of the schedule. The scheduler must be aware of guest relations and be able to exhibit behavior which is courteous, helpful, and caring towards others at all times. The scheduler must function effectively as a team member under minimal supervision of the Clinical manager.Job Description:
EDUCATION
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
College level command of composition, grammar, and mathematics, required.
EXPERIENCE TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN
Minimum of two years of previous surgical scheduling experience required.
Customer service, call center, or telephone experience, required.
Computer experience, Microsoft Word and Excel, required.
Pay Range: 31.11-38.89
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
