ENDICTUS is are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Systems Analyst 3 with an active TS clearance (SCI eligible) to join our team working with the Department of Defense (DoD). The Computer Systems Analyst 3 will play a crucial role in implementing, maintaining, and analyzing current DoD computer systems and design upgrades to help the client organization function more efficiently. The Computer Systems Analyst 3 will also design, test, install, configure, and maintain computer systems, and provide training and support to end users. Additionally, this role may also require project oversight of junior analysts and programmers and assisting with IT project management. Further responsibilities may include: assisting with research, evaluation, implementation, testing, and training on new and emerging relevant technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading of existing systems.
- Monitor the performance and security of the systems and implement backup and recovery procedures.
- Oversee the installation and configuring of new systems and implementing custom configurations in accordance with the organization’s unique use-case(s).
- Conduct tests and quality assurance checks to ensure the systems are working as expected and meet the user’s needs.
- Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems, customizing them for the organization’s specifications and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other IT staff, such as programmers, analysts, operators, etc.
- Design systems that will help support organizational goals and needs, using various methods such as data modeling, flowcharts, diagrams, etc.
- Work with team members to build and implement IT systems by selecting and configuring hardware and software components.
- Research new technologies to determine if installing them could increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization.
- Prepare cost/benefit analysis to help management determine if IT systems and upgrades to existing computing infrastructure are financially viable.
- Devise ways to introduce new functionality to current computer systems.
- Train the system’s end users and write instructional manuals and documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in computer systems analysis or a related field.
- High School diploma (Preferred - Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience (3 years’ experience required with a bachelor’s degree) as a Computer Systems Analyst, preferably in a DoD or defense contractor environment.
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Knowledge of various computer systems, software applications, programming languages, databases, networks, etc. relevant to the organization’s industry and needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, using oral and written skills.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project’s scope and size.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and design creative solutions using critical thinking and logic skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Ability to keep up with the latest technological trends and developments in the field.
Note: Only candidates with an active TS clearance will be considered for this position.
