Endocrinology Associates of New Jersey is a full-service practice for all endocrinology and diabetes needs, offering comprehensive evaluation by our professionally trained, board-certified clinicians. We offer office-based thyroid ultrasonography with immediate results, which provides patient satisfaction and peace of mind. We also offer on-site ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (thyroid biopsy), bone density testing (DEXA scan), continuous glucose monitoring devices, diabetic education, and nutritional counseling. For patients convenience, we offer blood draws and many other consultative and diagnostic services on-site, including lab testing.
Our staff consists of highly trained professionals that utilize our on-site, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment for patient evaluations. This allows us to maintain integrity from diagnosis through treatment, with most diagnostic and therapeutic services performed at our location. Our multi-disciplinary team including endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, diabetes educators, and nutritionists, offers a comprehensive approach to endocrine disorders.
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team to work with an endocrinologist. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the well-being of our patients. A comprehensive training in endocrinology and diabetes care will be provided on site.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of patients with diabetes and other endocrine issues.
- Develop and implement patient care plans with a help of an endocrinologist.
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in follow-up care including televisits.
**Requirements and skills**
- At least 2 years of experience in private practice of internal medicine or its subspecialties, or family practice
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have an active NJ State License
- Must be Board Certified
- Must live within 30 miles from the office
- Experience in Endocrinology is preferred but not required as a comprehensive training will be provided
