Responsibilities:
- Assist the doctor during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take high quality dental x-rays
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Provide chairside assistance to the doctor during procedures
- Educate patients on post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical coding and documentation
- Manage and organize dental supplies and inventory
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in using dental software, such as Epic, for medical records management
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental prosthetics is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care to patients
Please note that this position is specifically for a Dental Assistant with experience in pediatrics.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
