Dental Assistant

Endo PC is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to support in performing root canal therapy and related services. Full-time, 4 days/week, health insurance, 401k, and other benefits and perks available. This position will be in our primarily in our Ankeny and West Des Moines offices.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, reliable, and interested in providing outstanding patient care. Key activities include:

• Demonstrating complete knowledge of dental terminology, dental instruments, and proper tray setups.
• Readying treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Preparing patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
• Sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area, positioning instruments for dentist's access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
• Documenting dental care services by charting in digital patient records.
• Upholding patient confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protecting patients and co-workers by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Performing dental x-rays (Dexis digital radiography) and lab procedures to support patient care.
