Job Description: Forklift Operator - Shipping Work Location: 1155 N Main St, Prineville OR 97754 Shift: 1st Monday to Thursday; 5:30 am to 4pm (OT on Friday) Pay: $20 -$22 per hour or more, depending on experience Hiring Immediately! About our Endura Products Division We are excited to welcome Endura to the Masonite family in 2023. The company is a leading innovator and manufacturer of high-performance door frames and door system components, operating out of four facilities in NC, TX and OR. Overview To adequately and efficiently transport product, raw materials, etc. from location to location within the manufacturing facility. Ensure all product is transported in a safe manner. Responsibilities • Reads/interprets shipping schedules, stages doors, sorts by length, width, customer, core type to create correct stacks for shipping • Stages for shipping once wrapped, loads truck/trailer • Conduct pre-shift inspection of the forklift to ensure safety and operational compliance • Identifies dock # and trailer # on placard to ensure it reaches proper destinati • Provide safe operation of forklift throughout the facility. Abide by all safety rules and regulations required with forklift operation • Pull all production wrap lines as required • Consolidate all orders for shipping • Receive items into the facility/Ships all items correct to the customer • Pay attention to detail when pulling items from Wearhouse based on work order • Must be able to work extended hours and overtime as needed both daily and on weekends if business need requires • Replace pallets/runners as necessary to maintain a safe working environment • Must understand all shipping documents in order to understand the space required for product • Directs work of warehouse attendants and operators to efficiently expedite the loading and unloading of materials • Will also perform other related duties as assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the job description • Maintain a safe and clean work environment • Other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field • Self-driven, accountable, high integrity, open communicator, strong work ethic • Required to mount and dismount forklift multiple times per day • Forklift knowledge and safety procedures • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment • Solid verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical skills • Ability to organize and maintain detailed records • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have ability to multi-task • Desirable (but not required): Intermediate computer skills in programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook, with fast and accurate data entry skills • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. • Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service • Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent.
