Job Description Position Summary This leadership role is responsible for direct oversight and leadership to an assigned claims auditing team within one of the six regions at AgriSompo North America. This leader has authority for personnel actions and oversees day-to-day operations within the claims auditing team for MPCI and Crop Hail claims. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Directs activities of the team; includes planning of work activities and overall team performance. In partnership with a Claims Auditing Lead or as designated within your team, research and resolve complex issues. Oversees and directs implementation of established claims regulatory guidelines. Ensure your team is providing Best in Class service to our agents and farmers by providing timely and accurate claims auditing. Identify areas of training needed within your team and obtain and consult with the proper resources to help fulfill these needs. Serves as a point of contact for leaders on all claims auditing needs; answer questions, take feedback/communication and independently make decisions or resolve issues, outside of guidelines, as they arise. Oversees staffing and job development activities such as hiring, training, employee performance management, task delegation, coaching, promotions, corrective actions, terminations, etc. Develop, communicate and manage individual staff performance expectations that align with company goals. Hold regular conversations with your direct reports, to ascertain employee engagement, drive innovative solutions, and understand the needs of the region, agents, insureds and staff. Provide recommendations and solutions to Regional, National or applicable Leadership based on the conversations held with your team. Assist the Regional Operations Manager as needed in support of the needs of the region and the Regional Vice President. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, agriculture, or equivalent related experience. 5 years of MPCI experience preferred, with increasing levels of responsibility. Ability to look deep and think broadly to solve complex problems and provide effective solutions. Not afraid to challenge the status quo, and actively seeks out innovative ways to solve problems. Best in class customer service skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage several simultaneous projects in a dynamic, fluid environment. Ability to work both independently and as strong team contributor and collaborator. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong math skills. CAPP certification preferred. Proficient computer skills, including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Travel required for trainings and meetings, up to 20%. Physical Requirements & Work Conditions Sedentary work.
