Summary/Objective
A team player who will be responsible for supervising the assembly team and performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. This team member must maintain a positive attitude and have a high level of integrity.
Essential Roles
- Understand and follow all standard operating procedures to assure quality products are produced in a safe and efficient manner
- Directly involved with the hiring and termination process
- Manage the inventory and quality of the product being assembled
- Perform moderate to complex troubleshooting and routine maintenance on polymer processing and auxiliary equipment
- Train co-workers on processes
- Participate in all quality testing procedures on product
- Ensure all errors are reported on the assembly line using Non-Conformance Report (NCR)
- Work with other team members to resolve quality defects and production issues through root cause analysis
- Ensure that inventory is replenished and gain an understanding of stock levels and communicate if they need to be filled
- Ensure that the work area is clean and organized as outlined in the Enduraplas’ 6s program to ensure that the work area is safe and waste free
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English
Bilingual preferred
Demonstrated ability to learn new procedures
Experience with plastics manufacturing, injection molding or blow molding preferred, but not required
Ability to read, understand and follow instructions related to operations process and safety
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
