Position Summary
Utilize drafting software to prepare technical drawings for shielding-related products.
Job Responsibilities
Provide computer-aided design (CAD) drafting, preparing drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, blueprints, and sketches.
Utilize computer-aided drafting software and other techniques, standards, and tools to prepare technical drawings.
Coordinate and consult with engineers or designers to complete projects.
Transform initial rough product designs into working documents using CAD software.
Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
Collaborate with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to interact with all levels of employees and management.
Technical writing skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in Inventor or similar drafting software.
Education/Experience Requirements
Associate's degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent work experience.
2 or more years of related experience.
