Our Service Technicians are responsible to diagnose all aspects of the HVAC system, provide service and repair, give customers options and pricing, service upgrades, and collect payment upon completion while providing exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. This position will provide HVAC repair and services with an emphasis on quality of work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and codes.

Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
Successfully perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems
Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, condensers, and compressors
Build client relationships by providing outstanding service through strong communication and customer service skills
Identify opportunities for clients to improve their home comfort systems through product overview
Complete all tasks in accordance with quality and safety standards
Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
Educate your clients on maintenance requirements and offer appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at scheduled time
Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC, plumbing or electrical systems
Understand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments
Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
Document work completed with before and after photos
Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers
Maintain good working order of company vehicle
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
Demonstrate safe working practices and methods.
Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies.
Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentor.
Qualifications

The Following Are REQUIRED For Consideration
Minimum 2 years of experience in residential HVAC conducting maintenance, diagnosing & troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC system issues
Mechanical aptitude
Working knowledge of city codes
Integrity and the ability to promote a positive company image
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis
Results driven in a high-energy environment
Detail oriented with good time management skills
Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device
Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights
Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes
Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
