Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
- Operate hand and power tools to grind, drill, and cut metal parts.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure project completion within deadlines.
- Keep equipment and tools in good working condition by performing regular maintenance and repairs.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
- Must have CSCS Card
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering principles.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools to grind, drill, and cut metal parts.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment
