Our client's facility located in Wayne County, NY is looking for skilled welders to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible for executing precise welding tasks that contribute to the production of top-tier communication systems. Your work will ensure that these products have custom enclosures that continue to meet the high standards required by military and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding operations using a variety of techniques and equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate welds.
Inspect welds to confirm quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a welder in an industrial setting.
Experience in GTAW (TIG) in Aluminum, stainless steel and steel. Will be required to pass test to STD AWS D17.1
Spot welding experience in steel and or aluminum
Capable of basic tool familiarity, such as dial calipers, squares, clamps.
Operation of timesaver and vibratory tumblers.
Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS welding certification) are but not mandatory.
