Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for set-up, Client-out, and tack-up of various precision frame weldments and brackets. Ability to weld out frames and components to specified tolerances using engineer drawings and weld symbols. Must achieve specified cosmetic finishing welds with angle grinder and sanders. Must be able to work with minimal supervision from lead welder.

Duties

• Square up and weld various geometries of components.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including stick welding and soldering tools.
• Understand various weld forms and symbols on blueprints and understand size of fillet forms.
• Weld both vertical and horizontal plane geometry.
• Good understanding of welder set-up techniques.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to Client flaws.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Tig, Mig, Stick and torch weld sheet, angle and milled steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, including high pressure pneumatic manifolds and machine structural components.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements.
• Perform pipe threading and cutting as needed.
  
  

Skills: - Proficient in various welding techniques, including stick welding - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols - Experience using hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments - Familiarity with pipe threading and cutting processes - Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds - Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a welding environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
