Energy Management Corporation (EMC) currently has an opening for a full-time Parts and Logistics Specialist.
We are looking for an innovative, extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated,
honest and hardworking individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will
have extensive knowledge of parts, shipping, and inventory processes, and will be a
problem solver. Additionally, the optimal candidate will have a sense of
familiarity with engines and motors, and should be able to distinguish between
the two.
The individual who fills this role must be able to learn quickly, have good
organizational skills, as well as attention to detail, and be safety conscious.
All candidates must be willing to travel locally, and should be able to speak,
write, and communicate clearly in English.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities
- Order and purchase parts
- Place orders with vendors
- Interact with customers during counter sales and shipments
- Answer incoming calls from customers
- Assist departments company-wide with locating product
- Inspect daily freight shipments for accurateness and damages
- Process and package items to be shipped
- Operates a forklift to move shipments
- Use computer systems to receive and allocate inventory
- Process stock orders
- All other duties as assigned
This key position will require a hard-working individual who can be a crucial part of our
team and work well with others. Hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to
5 pm with an hour lunch. Working some weekends/holidays and/or overtime is a
possibility.
Applicants must be able to fulfill the physical duties of the job, which include being
able to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Applicants must be able to
reach with hands and arms. Applicants must also be able to regularly lift
and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
