Compensation Range: 70,000 to 87,000

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

The senior role of Software Product Analyst administers, troubleshoots, and constructs reports for multiple enterprise software platforms. Application support provided to external customers and vendors however primarily initiated by internal users. The Spotlight Software supplies reporting and maintenance records for a variety of communications companies. This position will also support technicians conducting preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities. A wide range of equipment will be serviced but no limited to HVAC units, Fire Equipment, Electrical Equipment, DC Plants, and renewable energy storage systems. This position will also aggregate data being collected and report out to senior leaders in the development, operations, accounting, and product management teams.The job description is pending.�

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer complex, scalable, component-based, distributed and mission critical large software systems using front-end, back-end, and applicable 3rd party technologies
  • Design and tune complex queries for data analysis and investigating software related issues
  • Execute SQL commands and scripts to Create, Read, Update, and Delete medium to large volumes of database records
  • Investigate highest tier user reported incidents to conclusion
  • Escalate incidents to product & development teams along with recommendations
  • Record detailed descriptions of customer feature requests and enhancements
  • Draft detailed descriptions of reported or identified bugs, faults, and or defects
  • Help determine highest priority problems & tickets demanding the support team's attention
  • Design test cases for Enterprise Applications (EA’s) features & components
  • Implement new hire training program
  • Design and Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports.
  • Prepare & Maintain Enterprise Application related administrative FAQ &“how-to” guides, including diagrams, workflows, and use-cases.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental strategy, planning, & escalation activities

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or a related field.
  • 3 years overall development/technical support experience.
  • 3 years of experience to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues in complex Enterprise Level applications.
  • 2 years of experience with windows server operating system / IIS and tools
  • 2 years of experience with MSSQL and tools
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel
