Job Description
Summary
engage2learn is looking for a high-energy, professional individual to join our growing organization as a Regional Account Executive. The K-12 Education Strategist is responsible for generating significant revenue with the goal of increasing and accelerating US sales through strategic, relationship-based selling, a hunter mentality, and educating K-12 leaders on the value of engage2learn’s solutions for their educators and learners. The individual in this role will be a team player with a penchant for seeking new experiences, knowledge, candid feedback, and openness to learning and change. This person will also bring a proven track record of successfully meeting revenue targets selling to a variety of decision-makers in K-12. She/he/they will also show strong emotional intelligence in all interactions with prospects, customers, and colleagues and have the ability to embrace feedback and hold themselves accountable.
- This is a full-time, exempt position.
- This is a remote position.
- Standard work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with additional hours as necessary.

Responsibilities
- Effectively execute a sales plan to initiate first-time sales to new customers, expand sales with existing customers, and produce high renewal rates for current customer
- Manage prospect and customer relationships to maximize customer exuberance and revenue
- Develop key contacts and successfully move them through each state of the sales process; ultimately achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets.

- Develop and deliver product presentations eloquently and succinctly to groups and decision-makers in-person and via video conferencing.
- Develop proposals, consult on purchasing options, negotiate terms, and strategize on solutions.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify and drive expansion opportunities.
- Accurately manage sales activities and forecasting through CRM (Hubspot experience a ).
- Work on a wide variety of tasks simultaneously, setting goals, and meeting deadlines.
- Effectively communicate, problem-solve, and collaborate with internal departments.
- Approach challenges and opportunities with a deep, critical thinking mindset.
- Identify potential prospects through territory analysis using market trends and account-based marketing campaigns.
- Extensive travel is required.
Requirements
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:
- 3 years in a consultative, field sales position
- Working experience in educational software, SaaS, and/or K-12 experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- You are a self starter, entrepreneurial, strategic and thinks outside the box
- Hands on experience with CRM software and Account management systems
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, depending on the time of year and district needs.
- An ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
- Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
- Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrate problem solving/ solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn in a high-paced sales environment.
