Job Posting for Reinforcement Bar Tying Specialist at Engelman Construction
Engelman Construction is currently seeking a skilled Reinforcement Bar Tying Specialist with concrete experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all activities associated with rebar, and making sure to meet production demand.
Responsibilities:
- Read drawings and blueprints
- Conduct weekly cycle counts
- Maintain accurate record keeping of inventory
- Help prepare construction sites, materials, and tools
- Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Follow all instructions from project managers and supervisors
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in rebar tying or concrete construction
- Comfortable handling the physical demands of the job, including walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pushing, and lifting at least 50 pounds
- Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar tying, and concrete pouring is required
- Ability to properly finish concrete is preferred, but not required
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Communicates effectively
