Job Posting for Corrective Planner (Civil Planner) at Engineering & Inspection Services
EIS is currently seeking an experienced Corrective Planner to support our client in the NOLA area. This position will be responsible for evaluating routine corrective activity and breaking it down into logical tasks to provide a safe executable plan to minimize waste during execution. The expected duration is 4-6 months, but could be longer based on need.

About the Position
Identify work orders requiring planning utilizing SAP or GSAP and recognize any special coding (E.g." HEMP-X” – HEMP Critical Equipment)
Planning Prework: Review and analyze previous work requests and plans for equipment, identify documentation/ procedure requirements and identify opportunities to combine multiple work requests
Visit job sites to confirm work scope and identify any obstacles that may prevent execution
Create, coordinate and finalize work plans in SAP/ GSAP, listing all required information and materials
Contact OMC's as needed to clarify intended work, repairs or deadlines
Feedback Loop: seek feedback on maintenance plans from leaders and coordinators.
Required Skills/ Abilities
Desirable Skills: Excel, P-6, Cost Estimating, and AutoCAD
Knowledge of P&ID's & ISO's
Excavation competent
Experience and Education
SAP/ GSAP experience required
Previous plant/ refinery experience required
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Climbing (stairs/ladders) and field visits are required.
Exposure to outdoors
Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes hardhat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other equipment as required.
