Job Posting for Engineer - Senior Level at Engineering Services Network, Inc.
ESN is seeking a Senior Engineer with experience with Navy ship warfare system engineering to directly support the PAPM/APAPM in the AEGIS Program Office.
Qualifications include:
Experience in Leadership and Technical roles onboard US Navy AEGIS Destroyers/Cruisers/AEGIS Ashore.
Expertise at the Program Office level in strategic planning, coordination, and strong understanding of senior and flag level support, including new program initiatives.
Experience related to the identification, analysis and resolution of complex systems engineering issues involving the modernization and evolution of Navy AEGIS weapon and combat systems.
Experience with combatant combat system software and hardware management and use.
Experience with U.S. Navy Combat Systems and Naval Operations.
Familiarity with technical documents to include: training materials, installation guides, configuration management concepts, proposals, and reports in accordance with DoD technical documentation guidelines and standards.
Familiarity with DoD/DON Policies and Procedures related to systems engineering processes as well as test and evaluation of Navy combat systems.
Job Requirements:
Senior Engineers must have:
An associate's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with twenty (20) years of U.S. Navy Combat Systems experience, OR
A bachelor's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with fifteen (15) years of relevant engineering experience (this could include, but is not limited to experience in DoD systems architectures, design, development, and test and evaluation; experience in concept definition, requirements definition and initial and detailed system design activities), OR
Master's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with ten (10) years of relevant engineering experience (this could include, but is not limited to experience in DoD systems architectures, design, development, and test and evaluation; experience in concept definition, requirements definition and initial and detailed system design activities).
