The Challenge:
What if you could use your engineering skills to help stop threat actors, catch a kidnapper, or solve a cold case? As a semiconductor engineering technician, you understand the building blocks of complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to how law enforcement investigates modern technology. We’re looking for a technician who can use their skills to develop novel capabilities to recover data from damaged devices or investigate possible integrated circuit (IC) counterfeiting or tampering.

You Have:
-5+ years of experience with silicon wafer, chip, or package sample prep through physical and chemical means
-5+ years of experience in imaging with the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) or Focused Ion Beam (FIB)
-Knowledge of semiconductor processes
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-AA or AS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with embedded flash memory technology
-Experience with FA/FI tools and techniques
-Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS in Engineering Technology
Clearance:
