What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Assistant (CNA/HHA/PCA) - Evenings FT & PT position at English Rose?
English Rose is seeking one (1) Full-time and (1) Part-Time Resident Assistant - (CNA, HHA, PCA) to join our evening team at our newest home - Oak Ridge (just off Hwy 169 & Hwy 7).
Our staff to resident ratio is 1: 3 in the evenings in our homes so you can focus on providing exceptional care and build those relationships with your residents. This assisted living home has active residents who want to connect with you.

Wage Range: $16 - 22 per hour based on experience, certification & expertise. $1,5000 retention bonus for full time role and $1,000 retention bonus for part time role.
Shift time: 2 - 10 p or 2:30 - 10 p. on a two week rotation including every other weekend.
Required Qualifications:
- Relationship focused compassionate caregiver (HHA, Resident Assistant, PCA, CNA)
- Higher wages and preference given to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing on the MN Nursing Assistant registry
- Passion for leading engaging activities with residents to ensure their holistic well-being
- Able to pass the MDH background check & tuberculosis screening
- Lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be on your feet for majority of your shift
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Professional and positive attitude
- Cooking & cleaning experience (preferred)
- Valid Drivers License (preferred)
- Current vaccinations for COVID19, or approved exemption, are required prior to working with Residents for all new staff
- Dementia Care experience a plus (but not required)
Primary Responsibilities of our Caregivers:
- Provide direct care to Residents with complex medical conditions.
- Support Residents by preparing meals, distributing medication, housekeeping and laundry services,
- Follow programming plans to provide meaningful engagement for the enrichment of our residents lives.
