What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer/Production Artist position at Engraphix Architectural Signage?
Engraphix, an employee-owned company founded in 1968, engineers, fabricates and installs high-end architectural signage for corporate and institutional clients nationwide. Engraphix strives to create products of the highest quality while achieving value and efficiencies in production. We have the proper balance of experience, creativity and technologies to make just about anything possible, a result of decades in the environmental graphics industry. Our facilities include a large designer's showroom, offices, graphic design studio and full production spaces for engineering, fabrication, finishing and painting.
We are looking for a creative, knowledgeable and positive-minded individual to fill an entry level graphic design/production artist position. Someone who is comfortable with every aspect of the design process from “napkin sketch” to 3-dimensional finished product.
The ideal candidate is a designer who does not mind the technical and less creative aspects of the position, or someone with a background in architectural drafting looking for something more creative.
Working well with others is a must as this position with Engraphix involves contact with our sales team, other internal designers, production professionals and our fabrication experts. It may also provide the opportunity to work with outside designers, architects, construction firms, and other corporate entities.
A good cultural fit within Engraphix Architectural Signage is extremely important: positive personal attitude and a shared belief in the company values of being accurate, communicative, down to earth, hard working, honest, and optimistic.
