Position Summary
Responsible for supporting manufacturing build, test, qualification, and shipping of planarization and lithography sub-systems. Requires a “hands-on” individual to complete electro-mechanical assembly operations, cleaning, and handling of high-purity parts, troubleshooting, and repair. Identifies and corrects errors. Because this position involves working in a cleanroom, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.
Essential Functions
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, pneumatic/electrical schematics, and BOMs.
- Assume ownership of all assembly and test tasks relating to complex/proprietary electromechanical assemblies.
- Cleaning of high-purity parts using acid solutions.
- Terminate wire assemblies.
- Details finished work. Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test, and repair.
- Inspect parts for defects.
- Troubleshoots and improves processes.
- Assure component or subsystem quality before shipment to a customer.
- Understand customer processes and assume responsibility for customer satisfaction.
- Partner with the Supply Chain/Procurement team in the management and closure of subcomponent material discrepancy issues.
- Use escalation policies as required to keep management informed of down/lack of progress situations.

- Flexibility to work on shifts/overtime/stand-by, on-call/holidays, weekends, when required.
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college preferred.
- Certifications such as IPC/WHMA-A-620C a big plus
Experience:
- Operation of computer such as: Use of Excel and Power Point
- Work in a laboratory or clean room environment.
- Use of torque wrenches and basic hand tools.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as it pertains to a multi-language, multi-cultural customer base.

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
